The LogMed application provides an efficient solution for tracking medications taken on an as-needed basis. Users can create a medication entry by inputting the medicine name, dosage range, units, and default quantity. Through the Log Medicine interface, individuals can log medicine consumption at the current time or select a prior date and time to record past entries. Additionally, there is an option to indicate the start of a new prescription, which facilitates monitoring the remaining medication supply. Historical entries can be reviewed, detailing the quantity of medicine left and visual representations of usage trends.

The application offers various reporting options, including:

• Quantity Taken Over Time
• Number of Times Taken Over Time
• Number of Times Taken Per Day of Week
• Average Time Between Entries

Default reporting periods are available for the last month, year, and five years. Furthermore, users can customize reports based on specific months or years from a designated start date.

For added convenience, users can export their medication entries into a tab-separated file via iTunes. The process involves connecting the device to a computer, navigating to the phone icon in iTunes, selecting File Sharing, and choosing the LogMed app. Finally, users can drag and drop the generated file to their desktop for easy access.
